What do y'all think? Too expensive for me, but I actually find the material very nice. Reminds me of old star-charts.

Beautiful but definitely too expensive for me...

Not my taste at all. If I want sparkly pens, I'll buy a Benu Pen which is both cheaper and prettier. :p

Wow. Those Benu Pens are some super sparkly pens.

I really can't put my finger on why I find this particular pen attractive. Maybe it gives me warm fuzzies from late 80s/early 90s toys that had glitter in them.

Love the body material but I hate metal sections. They're a deal breaker for me.

80's glam-rock bands... just how on earth do you play that guitar.

This this, apparently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1UUhqqx9kc

Be forewarned: it sounds exactly like you think it will.

I'm not that young, but I really, really, really hope I outlive the current fascination with glitter. It's in the inks, it's in the pens, it's everywhere. I'd scream but I'd be afraid glitter would come out.

Eh, some sparkles in pens don't bother my too much, but in inks.... I was over that trend in the 90s, which all I can think of are those glitter pens when I see shimmering inks.

Sorry for making two posts: worth mentioning that this article is referencing proper glitter. The "glitter" used in inks (and pens, I believe) is very finely ground mica dust. It's used in a greater concentration in metallic calligraphy inks.

It's way over my budget. Even if I had 800 dollars just laying around, I would spend it on something less flashy. I just don't need THAT much attention.

I’d love to get an Opera Master but I don’t think this is the one for me but I’m sure it will sell well.

The opera master model is exciting but that color is just too bright for me.

Pictures sometimes don't convey blue tones very well. I'd have to see it in person but even then, I would not lay out that much money for a pen.

I've owned an Opera Master. Won't own another one. The length of the pen and the stainless steel knob on the end for the power filler mechanism places too much weight too far away from the nib. Too much effort required to keep the nib on the page. No good for extended writing. Don't even think about posting it.
