Okay, I know nothing about this character, but I do like the pen.

I saw a link to it on Facebook.

Apparently, there are (or will be?) new Clear Candy versions: http://www.sailor.co.jp/pdf/release/candy-dot_20140204.pdf

A little pink for my taste. But the ink looks promising. Doesn't look like its available seperately though.

If I had to pick an animal for a custom nib, a seahorse would be a good choice.

OK, so Akubi-chan is a genie daughter of Hakushun Daimao in the comic and TV anime of the same name (Hakushun Daimao that is!).
She is a cute genie that appears when her master yawns (Akubi = Yawn in Japanese).
This pen is one of a series of Sailor pens working with the Anime production studio Tatsunoko for their 55th anniversary.

They will also release the Doronjyo set with two inks... this is the one I am planning to purchase... if I get the chance!

This makes me wish that Disney would influence Parker or Sheaffer to make a special edition "Tugboat Mickey" fountain pen.

Oh! I just received that set this week. The ink is really interesting. It's a dark teal with a nice sheen to it (but not too much). I recently tried the Kingdom Note Jade Vine ink, and they're tonally similar, but Akubi-chan is a bit darker. I haven't swatched the ink yet, but I'll follow-up when I do!

There's a bit of a look at the ink on Squishy-Ink's blog (https://squishyink.wordpress.com/2017/12/10/sailor-x-tatsunoko-akubi-first-impressions/#more-5927), but she didn't have a lot of sheen shown. I tested on some Tomoe River though, so that may affect things.
