Hello all,

This is my first post on FPGeeks (have been on FPN quite a bit, though). I do a lot of sketching using my Hero 395. These drawings were done while travelling on a train a couple of days ago. I carried only one pen so it is in monochrome (violetchrome?). Hope you all like it.

Hi Subramaniyam,

It seems that many people which normally post at FPN can't wait until it comes online again (including me) :)
These are very good (as always) :)
Thanks for showing it.

Yeah Pterodactylus..thats true.. Well I'm OK with any site dealing with FPs, be it FPN or FP geeks. I'm happy as long as I have pens and artwork to admire!! :-)

Loved your posts on FPN - especially the buildings and temples and such. These portraits are very striking as well.

Thanks for posting and hope to see many more.

Hi all,

I did not want to clutter this page by posting my earlier artwork, so I created a small website to put all my stuff. I will keep updating this thread with my latest sketches, though.

Woo, Subramaniyam, Very nice gallery! I hope you keep adding and letting us know. I like the washes, but it does elevate the work from a sketch, doesn't it?

Thank you... Well I really couldn't demarcate between a sketch and a er.....art piece? Several people ask me if I've held exhibitions and all, but honestly, I guess it will be a long time before I do anything like that. Until then, I'll probably keep drawing until it looks nice he he he :-)

The car was owned by an Indian princess- Maharani Gayatri Devi. She also had Salvatore Ferregamo make her countless pairs of very expensive slippers, I guess.

I've always loved your drawings on FPN. These violet ones are especially nice! Perhaps you've seen a few of my architectural drawings on FPN? I'm under the name MiamiArchStudent there.

Of course Fawkes!!! I've loved your drawings on FPN. I havent been active on FPN because I've exceeded my storage limit there and am frankly, lazy to clear the clutter. Will be posting there also soon. Look forward to seeing your artwork here too.

Subramaniyam, I hope you don't mind me posting this here, but here is a new perspective I made. It was drawn with a 1950s Pelikan 400NN with a very fine point and Aurora Black ink. Its an iPhone picture so any distortion you see is because the page isn't lying completely flat as it would if I scanned the drawing. Hope you all like it.
