Sheaffer TRIUMPH STATESMAN plunger-filler in carmine stripe, c. ‎‎1947.
Excellent fit and finish: no brassing, no personal ‎engraving, clear and proud manufacturer’s inscription, glossy celluloid ‎but small gouge in blind cap nearly unnoticeable.
Correct #79 Triumph two-tone conical nib (very smooth ‎FINE), White Dot on cap, 3/8” g-f cap band, spring loaded clip, view ‎window in section.
Holds a lot of ink.‎ FULLY RESTORED AND READY TO WRITE WITH 2-YEAR WARRANTY*.‎
PRICE: $150 included insured shipping in CONUS (overseas at buyer’s ‎expense).
*For a full account of my approach to plunger-filler restoration, see my ‎article, "The Re-birth ‎‎of Sheaffer's One Stroke Plunger-filler", in the ‎Spring 2009 issue of Pennant, a ‎publication of the Pen Collectors of ‎America. ‎
