Condition (n.b.): The pens listed below have been restored in the last couple months. They’ve been cleaned, outfitted with new sacs, and their nibs adjusted when needed. Each is guaranteed to fill and write as designed without leaks or other issues. Note that I use genuine silicone sacs from David Nishimura on pens with colors sensitive to discoloration. Some pens with these sacs have a tendency to seep ink into the cap if not stored with nib upright. If you would like a latex sac instead, I'd be happy to install one free of charge.
Shipping: To CONUS locations buyer may opt for either:
• USPS First-Class with tracking for $4
• USPS Priority with tracking for $7

Order, Payment, & Guarantee: Pens are placed on hold for the first person to PM me with firm request to purchase, to which I’ll reply with payment details. If I haven't received Paypal payment within 24 hrs, then they become available to the next person. All pens are guaranteed to be in the condition in which I've described them. If I've missed something or the filling mechanism is not fully functional, the buyer may contact me up to 7 days after receiving the pen for a full refund (issued once I receive the pen back in the same condition as sold). 1. 1934 Sheaffer Balance Oversized Autograph (Marine Green). Solid gold clip and cap band stamped 14k. Cap band has been impressed with the elegant signature of 'P.J. Jernigan'. Measures 5 5/8" capped with cap OD of >1/2", as one would expect from an oversized pen. Proper two-tone Lifetime nib in the upturned "Waverly" style lays down a smooth and consistent F/EF line with nice flow. Near mint condition with bright, even color to the barrel and cap, and deep, fully legible barrel imprint. No brassing whatsoever to the trim. No chips, cracks, bent or misaligned tines, missing parts, or threading issues. Restored with silicone sac and ready to write. A beautiful, collector-grade example of this pen.

2. c.1932 Sheaffer Oversized Balance (Marine Green, lever filler, 14k two-tone EF nib). Measures 5 5/8" capped with cap OD of >1/2", as one would expect from an oversized model. Proper two-tone Lifetime nib lays down a smooth and consistent EF line. Bright, even color to the barrel and cap, and deep, fully legible barrel imprint. No chips, cracks, personal engravings, bent or misaligned tines, missing or mismatched parts, or threading issues. No brassing whatsoever to the trim (please ignore the fingerprint on the lever in the first photo). Restored with a new sac in the last couple months. On the whole, an extremely clean example but for a repaired hairline crack to the cap lip. The crack was chemically welded with black celluloid and MEK (Methyl-Ethyl Ketone) – a procedure used my many professional restorers. The pen was allowed to cure for over a month, then finished so that the cap lip is now sound as a bell and the repair all but invisible (see detail photo). I’ll guarantee this repair for one year after purchase, no questions asked. No other cosmetic issues on the pen. Difficult to find these with such excellent color and no brassing. A beautiful pen at a discount for the repair.
