Hello everyone
Up for sale is a user-grade Soennecken 507 fountain pen fitted with a 14C Gold Fine nib.
The pen is from the late 1930s or from the 1940s.

Features:
- A firm Fine 14K-585 Gold nib that offers smooth writing experience. This nib is somewhat drier than Soennecken's average but performs very well, does not skip and starts without issues. I used the pen as a daily writer for a couple of weeks with excellent results.
- Piston turning knob marked 'DEF' (I think it stands for manifold extra-fine). In reality this nib is on the finer side of things.
- Original ebonite feed.
- The pen's cork has been replaced a month ago.
- The pen's piston filling mechanism works flawlessly, fills the pen to maximum ink capacity.
- No cracks, no dents, please check the HQ photos
Flaws:
- clip is a replacement
- caprings are missing
- Soennecken Eagle imprint on the captop is faded
- ink window is supposed to be transparent but is not. There is some kind of ink residue inside the barrel which makes it almost impossible to see the ink level (an overnight soak will not help you out here, I tried that but without any luck)
- microscratches, scratches.
I tried my very best to make decent photos and video of the pen, Please check them as they are part of this offer and are the best way of describing the pen.
