I have a Platinum Pocket Penss in the classic gold and black motif. The pens are similar to their Pilot Counterpart in the Pilot Elite. The pen is short and when posted becomes a full sized pen. The nibs are all 18K gold nib, and they write fine and smooth.
These pens were made in the 1970s-1980 and were in the same market as the Pilot Elite. The small size of the pen means that this pen will only take Platinum cartridges unless you trim down the Platinum Converter. Platinum also makes a converter in case youd like to use mini international standard cartridges but they may have to be trimmed to fit as well.
1. FINE NIB - The pen is in great condition with the feed of the pen still transparent with a dark blue tint. The pen has some minor brassing on some parts but overall in great condition. The diamond on the pen section is intact and the inset nib here is quite large like the modern Pilot Elite. 2. MEDIUM NIB - The pen is in great condition with the feed of the pen still transparent with a blue tint. The pen has some minor brassing on some parts and has two small dents on the top of the cap that I have tried to take pictures of.
