1. Fifth Avenue Red Celluloid Crescent Filler
Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/mYPUO
14k Gold Nib - fine point, very good flex goes from f to BBB, great feed provides fantastic ink flow, snaps back easily, great writer.
This pen was originally a lever filler but the lever sucked and did not squeeze sac or suck up ink.
So i took the lever out and i had crescent filler parts and i was happy to see how it worked so well.
Crescent filler restored with new sac - easily sucks up ink.
Beautiful red celluloid marble, good condition for its age, no major scratches chips or cracks. light scratches and some brassing on clip. I would say that this pen is thicker than the average vintage pen and is very nice to use.
Reduced to $79
(Funny story how i got those crescent filler parts, basically long ago when i didn't know much about repairing vintage pens, i had this black celluloid pen with crescent and i thought i would go ahead and apply heat to the section so that i can loosen the section and place a new sac. Celluloid as you know is highly FLAMMABLE and i ended up burning the poor pen to ashes. However i was able to save the crescent filler and sleeve. It is nice that i have finally put those parts to good use in this pen!)
