I've only seen one reference to these pens' existence online. I bought it from a former MS employee who got it in the early nineties. This one has a slight bit of staining on the section and the cap. I haven't tried to remove it as I'm afraid to damage the pen. These are extremely rare. The converter is stamped W. Germany and the nib is the older un-marked type from the very first Safari's. Based on the W. Germany printing on the bottom of the barrel and the metal cap screw, combined with the style of Microsoft logo, this pen is most likely from 1987-'88.
