6. Wahl Eversharp Red Ripple Desk Pen

Lever Filler - Restored with new sac, easily sucks up ink
14k Gold Eversharp Nib - Medium Point, good writer, lays down nice wet line, nib is more on rigid side but it is a fantastic writer.
Pen is in fantastic condition for it's age, the red Ripple ebonite is very well preserved with very little oxidization. Gold seal 'double check mark' Eversharp logo is on barrel. No major chips scratches or cracks. Pen may have light scratches/signs of use like any vintage pen.
Pen does not come with desk stand or cap, but I may have a random cap so that nib can be protected.

I am interested in #1, but the shipping is very high. Where are you shipping from? Usually the cost from the US (for example) is no more than $15.

I usually ship with USPS Priority which cost $7+. I am only charging $4 for service.
Canada shipping is $12
World wide shipping with USPS Priority mail with tracking is $33.25.
I only ship worldwide with usps priority mail because pens can get lost in the mail without tracking unfortunately.

If you're shipping from the US to New Zealand (where I live) you can use USPS First Class International and the service comes with a tracking number (you may have to specifically ask for it). Packages are then tracked door to door. Additionally, all my mail is delivered to a department in New Zealand's premier university - packages are always delivered to a receptionist.

This shipping option (USPS FCI) is only tracked between partner countries. New Zealand is one of those partners.

The United States Postal Service is reminding customers that — for no additional charge — online tracking has been added to certain international shipping services for lightweight packages to select countries.

The international shipping services for which free online tracking is available include:

First-Class Package International Service
Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelopes
Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Boxes

The free online tracking feature is available for these items sent to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Switzerland, Israel and Brazil.

Sorry i will only deliver with USPS Priority internationally. I understand there are other options. But it is the seller choice which shipping service to use.

I feel like I should add some positivity here just to maintain balance - I have purchased several pens from this wonderful seller throughout the last year or so. Only had excellent experiences.

You'd be silly to pass up some of these deals! Many of these pens are listed at less than I'd personally value them, so /personally/ I'd say it makes up for the high shipping. You'd pay more elsewhere, even including shipping.

Very, Very Curious as to what brand and model of blue ink you are using in your writing example. By chance is that Akkermann Shocking Blue ??

Hey the ink is Visconti blue, the older version that came in the glass bottle.
I think it is tomoe river paper that I use makes the ink sheen come out more.

Wait a minute. There is a difference between the glass bottle and plastic bottle Visconti blues?

I don't know if there is a difference. I don't have the plastic bottle Visconti blue to compare. My guess it's likely same ink, just different bottles design.
