Nakaya Naka-ai - Rare Ao Tamenuri

Offered here is a Nakaya Naka-ai Writer in the super rare Ao Tamenuri finish. Since this finish was discontinued a couple of years ago these have been extremely hard to find.

The pen features a rhodium plated 14K gold Broad nib that was ground to Stub by the incomparable John Mottishaw.

The pen is complete with original boxes, kimono, and ink cartridges. The pen has a very small chip near the bottom end that is about 1 mm in size with a couple of smaller and lighter marks nearby. I have tried to show this mark in the highly magnified picture below.
