I have had this for years but only recently started to look into it. Apologies for the photo but it's the best I can do at the moment. This nib is sitting in a no frills copper J series Esterbrook pen. It has an impression of the back of a hand in a 'victory' gesture. I'm going to assume that it is not a peace or derogatory British hand signal. :). The V is emphasized and I am assuming that it is in relation to the trademark. The writing at the base of the nib is 'deposee', which I believe is French for trademark. Any thoughts on this?
