BOTH PENS SOLD

FOR SALE: The Eternal was snagged by a smart collector, leaving the "55."

The Waterman's 55 in red and black ripple hard rubber has some interesting history, but first and foremost, this pen is a favorite writer, with a smooth and responsive flex F to BB 14k nib. Very crisp “Waterman’s Fountain Pen” etc. embossed on both the side and around the end of the barrel, with "55" on the bottom. The gold-filled clip, cap band and lever are firmly attached with no brassing. No cracks, chips or dings. Fresh sac. The name Sol Maas of Maas Bros. fame* appears on the barrel and is original to this lovely pen.

$375$335 including shipping to any address served by the USPS. More elsewhere. First PM that reads “I’ll take the 55” with email address and shipping address holds the pen pending prompt payment of Square invoice emailed to you. Questions welcome, but do not hold pen.

SOLDSecond is the more striking of the two pens, a Mabie Todd Swan Eternal 44 in red and black mottled hard rubber and the classic white swan on the top. This pen not only has a factory Eternal BB stub installed, but it also comes with an Eternal F semi-flex nib, too! You get two pens in one. It is difficult to capture the beauty of the hard rubber with the wide “stacked coins” gold bands and clip with no brassing. No cracks, chips or dings. Fresh sac.
