Hello.

Got a small collection. All vintage, mainly German.
Think I got it just right.

And then I see the Pilot MYU701 and everything changes.
Years of madness ensue.

Some years later, everything has settled down again.
I still have my small vintage collection and my MYU701.

Here's the point of the thread: I'm in the UK. I went through a few 701s before ending up with mine - also bought a couple for friends.
And every single one was bought from abroad, and sold back abroad.
Just got me wondering: How many 701s actually in the UK?

Easy way to find out: The 701UK club. Sign up here.
Limited to 710 members?
No, but I will buy the 701st member a bottle of champagne, or iroshizuku.

It would be arrogant of me to be No.1 - so I'll chip in within the first ten (he wished, ambitiously)

This thread could also celebrate the beauty of this design classic with members' photography, if anyone had both a 701 and such skills?
Otherwise, it'll be me and the old iphone snaps.

Enjoy.

Well.... I'm in the US... but my 701 is always with me. Well, with logical exceptions, ay? Day to day, though, it's my on-the-go-note-taking pen. It's got the smoothest, sweetest fine nib!

Cheers,
Julie
