I just finished replacing the sac in this Esterbrook SJ using quality sac, talc and sac cement from Indy Pen Dance.
The newly installed XF 2550 nib was NOS a few days ago. I had to do some minor aligning and tuning to smooth it out but I got it where I like it.
The nib seems to like Pilot Iroshizuku Take-sumi as it is a rather dry writer. This 2550 is finer than a Pilot Metro F for reference.

The barrel has a couple of scratches (pics) and overall the pen shows signs of use. But, it writes well. Both jewels are intact.
