For sale is a lightly used Pelikan M1005 demo that was made in a limited run around 2013 (if memory serves). The pen is in good shape, but there is some light ink residue from the previous time I filled the pen. I read it is possible to remove with a soak in pen flush but I have not done so. I do not believe it to be permanent damage and since it will happen the next time I fill the pen I left it as is. I have the box and papers for the pen. In terms of pricing, it will depend on what nib you want, if any.

Pen price with:
- No nib at all = $525
- A matching rhodium plated nib that was re-tipped to 1.4MM and stubbed = $750
- An M1000 nib plain M = $725
- An M1000 nib plain B = $725
- An M1000 nib M with CI grind = $750

Pictures show the pen as it sits now (empty with ink residue) and what it will look like when filled with blue ink. The writing sample is the M1000 B nib.

Shipping in the US is included. Insurance or signature confirmation are extra at actual cost.

Questions are welcomed but do not hold the pen for you. The first firm commitment get it. Please message me if you have interest.

If you like Demos I also have 3 M800 Green demos from 1993 and a Blue Ocean from 1994. I have a few nib options that will affect the price. Contact me for details.

Is the Rhodium nib an M100x nib?

Yes, the plated nib came from a 1005 pen, just not the one for sale. I think it was an F to start.
