I have a Pilot Custom 823 Amber fountain pen with a buttery-smooth Japanese medium point. Pen is in mint condition and is about 6 months old. I am the original purchaser (from Classic Fountain Pens - nibs.com). Pen writes beautifully with no skipping, hard starts, etc. etc.
