The Pelikan M400 Brown Tortoise was a special edition in 2016 and most dealer stocks have been depleted. If you've seen what has happened to the price of the 800's, you may not want to miss the chance to pick up a 400 while they are still cheap.

My M400 Brown Tortoise has a 14K Fine nib and of course is piston filled.

This pen is brand new never inked in original packaging. Even the little hang tag is still present.

And people are certainly free to buy a pen there if they so choose. On the other hand, for whatever reason, dealer prices in the US are significantly higher. As I understand it, sole US Distributor Chartpak will not honor warranty or nib exchange privileges on pens purchased from outside the US.

I have priced my pen lower than most US dealers, and lower than prices from Asian dealers I found on Ebay. Some will find that attractive and some won't.

Right, but you don’t offer that either (you’re wrong anyway, you can easily request nib swap/warranty through Pelikan Germany). So where does the 50% price increase come from?

This is your (at least) second ad with an absurdly high price. I’m wondering if you’re here to price gouge the community or just uninformed. I almost never discuss prices on the ads here, but 50% increase over a brand new from reputable vendors is just too much.

First, it is not a 50% increase over anything. It is priced lower than dealers here in the US where the pen and I are located.

As far as a second "absurdly high price" or "gouging the community", I'm not sure what you are referring to. I have sold several dozen pens here and on other sites and have never had a single complaint from any customer. Quite a few have come back for additional purchases. Can you say the same?
