It is a Waterman's 52 combination fountain pen and pencil from the early 1930s. Though rather uncommon, value is dictated by condition. The discoloration of the black and pearl barrel is typical, but otherwise I see no dings. If there are any cracks, that will have a substantial impact. The condition of the (likely original) nib is important, but easily replaceable. Combo collectors (few as there may be) might jostle to get their hands on this. (I've seen a restored Waterman's red ripple combo go for an obscene amount that I'd never pay.) This combo requires a bit of patience and research if you want maximum value. Otherwise, expect $75-$150 as is based on the photos alone, and be prepared to wait.

Keep in mind that pen restorers will want it for parts for repair of more popular fountain pens (nib, feed, section, lever and lever box).

Crack in barrel threads?

Crack in barrel threads?
Where the pearlescent borders the black? The photo doesn't show cracking, but closer examination might prove otherwise in which case the value plummets.

Thought I saw something. Wouldn’t be the first one with a crack. The do weld pretty well.
