Awesome, glad you are happy with it. I'm a big fan of my TWSBIs as well (which I was really hesitant to purchase at first). I picked an EF, 1.1mm, and 1.5mm. Love them all :) More importantly, what did you ink it with? :D

I recommend as well. The 580 is my first ever and it hasn't come out of my daily carry since it arrived 6 weeks ago. I did a 1.1 stub, also a first, and right now it contains Fahrneys Copper Burst. Holds a simply ridiculous amount of ink. Writes like a good dream full of milk chocolate and ice-cream.

What color did you get?

Aren't they only clear demonstrators? Which I dislike, but is what it came as. I don't remember options.

You are correct, the 580 is only available in clear right now.

My TWSBI 580 m nib is due to arrive Monday - thinking of inking it with Noodler's Apache Sunrise.

Hope the med works for me - used GPC nib nook chart and wrote with my Monteverde Invincia Stealth w a med nib and the result fell within the nib nook fine and med for the twsbi 580

I wasn't the happiest at first because it was dumping more of a m +1/2 too much ink - so I tweaked the nib a bit to reduce the flow and now writing more reasonable as far as ink dump is concerned, it's still a wet line ..... anyway thanks

I got the broad nib for my 580. Not feeling the love. I think I might go to the 1.1 Stub like I have on my Mini. I love that nib!

Anyone wish to share their experiences with current TWSBI nibs?

I have a 540 + EF, 540 + 1.1, and a 580 + 1.5. I may have lucked out with them because they all write quite well. Smooth, good ink flow. My favorite is the 1.1 though. Juicy, springy, perfect flow and size. ... I still want a Mini... they're just so cute...!

1.1 mm is my favorite. I have EF, F, B and 1.1.

oooohhhh I'm so jealous.

I'm still waiting for my clear mini 1.1 stubby. I got the Diamine Grape to go along with it. I used to write with an italic nib, and I really like the wider nibbage on pens.

I love the full clear demonstrators. That look is so futuristic.

I purchased a 580 AL and have yet to ink it up. I remain hopeful the 1.1 mm nib will be a wetter writer.
