The Good: Ebonite feed, plastic threads, fine nib. Comes with the box, papers, and sticker.
The Bad: Just a hint of plating lost around the breather hole. The nib is a little dry writing, could use an adjust if you like wet nibs. The box shows it's age. The piston is a bit dry. Will need attention shortly but it is still usable now and the tools to remove the piston can be had on ebay cheap enough.

I can't believe you did not sell it for the original price. I paid $425 for mine with box and papers. I agree with the idea of keeping it for now and trying again sometime in the future when people are willing to give you what it's worth. Must be too many people spending money on vacations or something.
