SOLD: Sheaffer Snorkel art deco desk set with matching connecting three gold rings. White dot. Stickered! I acquired these in two separate places by co-incidence. One at the Columbus Ohio Pen Show, and the other in an antique shop while pen hunting just south of Columbus on Saturday afternoon after attending the show. The pen still has its sticker: 121GKD $15.00, and the filler assembly works well squirting a nice stream of water from the extended snorkel. I have not disassembled the pen, but even if it was N.O.S., it has been inked at some point. The 14k F nib is marked on the bottom: F5. The base still has the SHEAFFER'S label on the front, and the original paper label on the bottom. The matching blotter is a real gem, like new. I wouldn't be surprised if the blotter paper is original. The celluloid catches the light when angled in the sun.
If you are a Sheaffer collector, this is a great opportunity to own a striking rare set.
