Very nice review!
I think you have to try a SF nib (Soft fine) it is a great soft/flex nib from Platinum.
It is quite hard to understand how to write with it though

Totally mis-informed: it is NOT a flex nib. Yes, there is softness to the nib but the tines don't spread like a flex nib and pushing the nib too hard will spring it. The softness is only for a different writing experience and feel, not for making wide lines from a fine nib.

I've noticed this tendency to think just because it is a fountain pen, it must be a "flex pen" or you can automatically flex any fountain pen. A soft nib is springy at most. I fear more sprung nibs may be on the horizon.
