Sheaffer Dolphin, Touchdown Filler. Appears to be the midrange 800 model. Touchdown mechanism moves smoothly, sucks up and expels ink. Previous owner thought it might not be filling fully but I think it may have just needed to be fully flushed with water to get out old ink. Smooth gold plated nib writes a medium line, writing sample on photo is noodlers black swan in Australian roses on regular computer paper.
5 1/4 inches capped. A bit smaller in diameter than I am a fan of, but that is typical of many vintage.
