Condition (n.b.): All pens listed below have been disassembled, cleaned and restored with new sacs installed in the last couple months. Each is guaranteed to fill and write as designed without leaks or other issues. These pens have no cracks, chips, personal engravings (except #2), missing parts, bent nibs, misaligned tines, or threading issues.

1. 1924-6 Wahl Silver Ringtop (silver filled in Wave pattern, lever filler, 14k B/BB Superflex Factory Stub). Measures 3 3/4" capped and 5 1/8" posted. This is one of Wahl's all metal, machine-chased pens marked "silver filled," which is said to be less common than is sterling on these models. Machine-turned pattern, which Wahl dubbed "Wave," was only offered from 1924-6. But what truly sets this pen apart is the Wahl #2 nib: a Super-Flexible Factory Stub. Unflexed it lays down a buttery smooth and consistent B/BB line on the downstroke and F line on the cross-stroke. Under light pressure it's capable of BBB+ variation (see [writing sample](https://imgur.com/VNjxlHX)). Flow is generous when flexed but crisp enough when unflexed to yield really impressive variation. **Condition:** excellent. No dents or dings to the surface and no brassing. Crown of the cap and butt of the barrel are perfectly round. Chasing is strong with no discernible wear. The only noteworthy flaws are some scratches to the top of the nib. I've pulled the nib and inspected it with a loupe and none of these scratches penetrates to the underside. They are merely cosmetic, having no effect on the way it writes. Other than that, this pen is immaculate. Price: $160 SOLD

2. 1920s Sheaffer Gold Overlay Ringtop (gold filled in pinstripe chasing pattern over BHR, lever filler, 14k XF Full Flex nib). Measures 3 7/8" capped and 5" posted. Based on the early "Self-Filling" nib, this pen appears to be pre-1925 manufacture. Gold-filled pinstripe overlay over black hard rubber. Nice heft in the hand for its size. Flexible 14k Sheaffer Self-Filling #2 nib lays down a smooth and consistent XF line that widens to a BB+ under moderate pressure (see writing sample: https://imgur.com/uYMdmXU)). Condition: very good. No dents or dings to the overlay - just some micro-scratches here and there. Crown of the cap and butt of the barrel are perfectly round. Chasing is strong with no discernible wear. There is a fine sliver of brassing around the top edge of the cap and a wider sliver around the butt of the barrel. Also a sliver of wear to one edge of the lever in the middle. The cartouche on the barrel bears a professional monogram (see detail photo: https://imgur.com/RlyhF2q). No other noteworthy issues. Price: $100

B]3. 1928 Parker Petit Pastel Ringtop[/B] (Coral Moire, GPT, button filler, 14k XF Flex/Superflex nib). Measures 4 1/2" capped and 5 1/2" posted. The Pastel was first touted as a compact-sized version of the oversized Duofold just as Parker began to experiment with new and different celluloid colors and patterns in the late 20s. Because most of Parker's lineup had been made up of plainer black- or red-orange hard rubber, the vibrant pastel hues and moire patterns of these pens made them very popular. Yet they are somewhat difficult to come by today, especially in this condition. This Coral moire pen exhibits features of Parker's transition from the Flat Top to the Streamlined Duofold, having a knurled crown and blindcap made of black hard rubber and double cap bands. Again like the Duofold, it's a button filler. To fill one removes the blindcap and depresses the brass button to compress the sac inside. This Pastel is equipped with a 14k Parker Lucky Curve nib that is capable of Super-Flexible variation with Flexible softness. It lays down a smooth and consistent XF line that widens to a BBB+ under moderate pressure (see writing sample). Well suited for calligraphic and expressive writing styles. Condition: excellent. No brassing. Hard to find a Pastel with such good color since these early celluloids were particularly prone to discoloration. Smooth, lustrous finish to the surface and deep, fully legible imprint. An uncommon pen in exceptional condition and a lovely writer. Price: $145 SOLD

4. 1920s Parker Chased Lucky Curve Ringtop (chased Permanite & HR, GPT, button filler, 14k XXF Flex/Superflex nib). A larger ringtop, measuring 4 3/4" capped and 6" posted. Another compact-sized variant of Parker's Duofold from the late 20s, this pen features a chased Permanite barrel and cap with knurled, hard rubber crown and blindcap. This one is another button filler, filled by removing the blindcap and depressing the brass button to compress the sac inside. 14k Parker Lucky Curve nib is capable of Super-Flexible variation with Flexible softness. It lays down a smooth and consistent XXF line that widens to a BBB+ under moderate pressure (see writing sample). Needlepoint hairlines, strong snap-back and reliable flow make this one another great choice for calligraphic styles of writing. Condition: near mint. This pen appears to have seen hardly any use at all. No brassing. Factory-sharp imprint and chasing. Smooth lustrous finish to the surface with scarcely any micro-scratches even. A pristine pen and another delightful writer. Price: $130

5. 1920s Waterman 52 1/2V Ringtop (BCHR, GPT, lever filler, 14k XXF/XF Superflex nib). Measures 4 1/2" capped and 5 5/8" capped. A clean example of Waterman's classic workhorse in black chased hard rubber with gold-plated furniture. Early Watermans are known for having expressive nibs and this one is no exception. The Super-Flexible 14k Ideal #2 lays down a smooth and consistent XXF/XF line that widens to a BBB+ under light pressure (see writing sample). Strong snap-back and needlepoint hairlines make it ideal for calligraphic writing styles. Condition: excellent. No brassing. Hard rubber has a deep black color with minimal fading. Strong, even chasing throughout and sharp, fully-legible imprints. '52 1/2V' stamp on barrel-end even retains some of its original red paint! An expressive writer in exceptional condition. Price: $150 SOLD

6. c.1936 Waterman Lady Patricia Ink-Vue (Mist - grey marble, NPT, ink-vue filler, 14k XXF Flex nib). This Canadian model measures 4 1/4" capped and 5 1/2" posted. In my opinion, the Lady Patricia is in a class of its own from a design standpoint. Not only is the innovative filling system a lot of fun to use, the fine details of these pens epitomize 30s Art Deco style. Exemplary is the elegant harlequin motif, which is repeated on the clip, the cap band, the translucent section of the barrel, and the lever. Like Parker's Vacumatic, Waterman Ink-Vues use a latex sac not to hold the ink, but to create a vacuum to suck it directly into the barrel, the transparency of which makes the ink level fully visible. Just unlock the patented "Double Action" lever and depress it upward against the barrel 4-5 times until the pen is full. The Flexible 14k Ideal #2 nib on this pen lays down a smooth and consistent XXF line that widens to a BB+ under moderate pressure (see writing sample). Condition: excellent. Nickel- is notoriously more delicate than is gold-plating and the geometric trim designs on the Ink-Vue Patricias protrude, making it especially susceptible to wear. The plating on this pen is in better shape than most, with only a sliver of high-point wear around the center of the cap band and a couple spots on the clip (hard to see since the underlying metal is the same color as the nickel plating). No brassing to the lever. Also notable are some scratches on the metal crown. Decent transparency with ink level visible when pen is held to light. Smooth, lustrous finish and deep, fully legible imprints. A very pretty pen I'm letting go from my own collection. Price: $165 SOLD

7. 1920s Conklin Endura Ringtop (Sapphire Blue, GPT, lever filler, 14k XF Semi-Flex nib). Measures 4 1/2" capped and 5 1/2" posted. A well-preserved example in the stunning Sapphire blue color accented by red annular rings. Exquisite details include crescent motif on lever and nib (breather hole), hearkening back to the Conklin Crescent-Filler: the pen that put the company on the map. Semi-flex 14k Endura nib lays down a smooth and consistent XF line with some variation under moderate pressure (see writing sample). Condition: excellent. Color is superb with no discernible darkening to the barrel. No brassing to the trim. Smooth, lustrous finish and deep, sharp imprint (the word 'Conklin' is a bit lighter than the rest but still legible). The only notable blemishes are 3-4 pin-sized dings on the edge of the cap's gold crown. A collector-grade example and a solid writer. Price: $140 SOLD

8. c.1930 Conklin Endura Symetrik Ringtop (Black & Bronze, GPT, lever filler, 14k XF Flex nib). Measures 4 5/8” capped and 5 1/2” posted. Ringtop model with inlaid gold crescent logo on the cap. A motif elegantly repeated on the lever and breather hole, hearkening back to the Conklin Crescent-Filler. Flexible 14k Conklin Endura nib lays down a smooth and consistent XF line that widens to a BB+ under moderate pressure (see writing sample). Similar variation as #7 but softer in comparison. Condition: excellent, with no brassing to the trim aside from a sliver to the bottom edge of the lower cap ring around 1/2 of the cap band. Deep, fully legible imprint and smooth, lustrous finish to the celluloid. Price: $110
