That's an interesting article. Few things, for me, are more useful than the hardback notebook. With that and a fountain pen I can write whatever I need wherever I go.

I use a sloped writing box, but I didn't think my motivation was that danged complicated.

Very cool. I found this modern version on Amazon for $35 that would be good for fountain pen, brush or dip pen. For dip pens, you could glue some velcro to the right hand side and to the bottom of an ink well/bottle/vial. They also have a larger version from the same supplier. I'm thinking about getting one.
