Sorry for the cross-posts, but I’m trying to get this in front of the appropriate eyes.

Anybody go to the Commonwealth Pen Show this weekend? I’m trying to acquire bottles of Noodler’s MaoXi and The True Blue Anti-Fascist. These are both inks types I’ve been wanting Nathan to make for a long time.

Thanks!

No, but I wish I could. There are several things I'd like to have of course. No funds though, which stinks. I did watch his videos though, and several things caught my eye.

I tried and almost bought the Maoxi (pronounced Mousy). It was nice but it took too long to dry to me.... even for a slow drying non-feathering ink.

I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case. One of my great frustrations is that one of my favorite blues is Noodler’s Blue, but I can’t use it because it still smears after 24-30 HOURS (!!!) when used in anything but the finest or driest nibs. It dries quickly on cheap paper, but you can’t use it there because it feathers like crazy.

I’ve been wanting blue and red versions of X-Feather for quite some time, so needless to say I was very excited to see these two inks announced. And equally crushed to hear that neither would be production inks, at least in their current form.

I admit I'm kinda curious as to what these inks and labels looked like. I forgot to stop by the Noodler's desk to check out if they had any exclusives that interested me.

I have both, and Provoke the Puritan, and Brexit, and Liberty's Defense.... (and the clear safety pen :) )

I've been using Maoxi to write my InCoWriMo letters (the FB Goulet Nation list) and i haven't had any issues with the ink not drying quickly. I've used it on Tomoe River and Clairfontaine, and i'm using cheap envelopes from Staples that are like sponges, so the anti-feather is perfect for those envelopes.

No idea what paper a previous poster was using when complaining about the dry time.

The site won't let me edit my comment on my phone, i was going to add, MaoXi is the only ink of those listed that i've used so far.
