Hello,
Catch and release. Here's a 1986 Montblanc 149, which is fit with a two tone 14K nib and split ebonite feed. The piston is flawless, buttery smooth, and the ink window is crystal clear. There are some micro scratches from age and use, but nothing major and no cracks. It comes with original packaging, and even the filled out warranty card!
Nib was dip tested only in my possession, but I took a picture of the writing sample from MB Irish Green. I experienced no hard starts, no scratchiness, and a rich flow.
