Hello,
I'm selling a 1987-1988 (First years) black Pelikan M800 which is fitted with the very hard to come by 14C 2 chick nib in Fine. This nib is definitely softer than the current nibs and writes with some feedback. It allows for a more bouncy, but not flexy, writing experience and gives some excellent shading. I only put a little bit of ink in it to test the nib for the writing sample, but did not experience any hard starts or skips.
The body is in overall good condition. There are some microscratches from age, as well as the expected light scratches near the ink window from capping/uncapping. No cracks, but I did see two very small nicks on the cap near the clip (pictured). Other than those two marks, no major scratches. The piston is lubricated and very smooth, the ink window is clear with no staining, the body has the gold medallions on both cap and piston nob, and even has the factory sticker indicating the 14C nib!!
Will ship with the original box as well!
