First up, is a Sheaffer Senior Flat Top Jade

A few stable cap cracks. No teeth marks and the Jadeite is in pretty good shape over all. Some minor oxidation on the section. Writes a solid firm fine. With only some minor brassing on the clip and cap bands, this is a solid introduction to Sheaffer's and vintage in general. The imprints are clear and crisp. There is a name on the barrel, but not very noticeable.
Next we have a milk pen. No, really, this is the Burnham No. 60. This is a solid black pen with gold trim. The pen is made of caseine, a protein found in milk. Extra care has to be taken to not let this pen soak in water or the caseine will swell and deform (indeed, a bit too much exposure gives caseine a distinct...bovine smell). Fitted with a gold flexible stub nib that writes smooth and reasonably wet. Only issue is a few stable cap cracks.
