ENTIRE COLLECTION FOR SALE

I have decided to sell my fountain pen collection to pursue other adventures. I have 220 Viscontis, Tibaldis, Marlens, Mont Blancs, Parkers, Shaffers, Sailors, Deltas, Omas, Stipulas, Namikis, Cross's and other fountain pens, along with some rollerbballs, ball points, and pencils. Also have a few display cases, several leather carry cases, inkpots, ink and cartridges At this time, I prefer to sell these in a single lot (which would no doubt involve a face to face meeting in Jackson Mississippi or nearby). Wow! I have sent the list and information to at least 12 members! Thanks for your interest! I am in the process of valuing the entire collection but need a lot of research on my part to determine what I have in it and compare that to market value. Hopefully I will have that done by early next week.

Please understand that I am not trying to start a bidding process - I simply want to offer a member the opportunity to dramatically increase their collection at one time with some VERY nice pens. If I do not get any reasonable offers for the entire collection, I may offer individual pens for sale - if this happens, I will let you all know.

If you take an average of $500/pen, 220 pens would be $110,000. I can't imagine any one person paying out that full amount, but then again, you never know.

There are pens, rollerballs, ballpoints, and pencils of varying costs in this collection. While I would be glad to accept $110,000 from someone who just hit the Lottery:):), I am thinking the average is lower than $500 per pen.

Fellow FPGs,
I know I told you that I would send pricing for my fountain pens a few months ago. I started on this arduous task and shortly after, a series of illnesses and other crises manifested on myself and family which precluded me doing the necessary research. However, during that time, several FPGs and other fountain pen enthusiasts made acceptable offers on several of my pens and they have been deleted from my original list. That being said, I have made it a New Year’s resolution to complete the pricing and send them to those who have inquired - hopefully within a week or two. AND, I have learned how to convert my updated spreadsheet to .jpg files so I can just post in the list here (see attached). In the meantime, feel free to inquire or make offers via PM or email (jzupko@yahoo.com).
