Has an original Sheaffer squeeze converter which is important as some of the modern converters might not fit the length of the barrel (will also accept Sheaffer cartridges). Have had it inked with Montblanc Irish Green (did not appear to need any silicone grease on the rubber seal when re-assembled, see disassembled picture at bottom), went with Irish Green because it is a wetter ink making the the writing sample showing it's flow with a wetter ink.
Aside from a little bit of smoothing the nib is how I received it which seems to give an almost like an architect point (the wide end of Fine~Medium when writing across, but closer to an XXF when writing down). The back side of the nib can be used for finer writing in both direction but is scratchy when used with the nib flipped around.
The steel nib Imperials aren't really my thing and I don't see myself using this one in the long run as I'm trying to get away from EF/F nibs in my collection (got a lot of them).
Has all the usual light marks you would expect the cap and barrel from general wear and sitting in a drawer or cup for quite some time. No cracks, chips or dents.
Would like to get 65 USD Shipped (Within US via Priority Mail) or best offer.
Also open to trades (preferably vintage, preferably larger than a fine nib).
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
