Dear All

I am reaching out for some help with a recently acquired Parker 51.

My Parker 51 collection has long gone having focused more on modern pens but occasionally a 51 comes my way and this one has me stumped.

It is a smaller burgundy 51 with 12k rolled gold cap made in England (narrow at jewel).
There is a "51" imprint on the barrel (just visible on first pic) with a breather hole at end. No date code.
The filler has "Parker 51" and "....press 4 times.."
Gold nib

I have pictured it with a Cordovan Brown 51 vac for a comparison of size. The caps are interchangeable.

Given the smaller gold "clutch" band I suspect it is a late 51 but an ID is eluding me.

Any thoughts, comments, help would be appreciated. Thanks, Alex

Demi size 51 in bloody burgundy.
I thought people usually included the word "British" in the middle of that description for this particular pen. ;)

British was assumed, from the rolled gold, etc.

I usually call that color English Bloody Burgundy, since the cap usually says "Made in England".
