I have ONE of these pens that I somehow acquired which is extremely rare and I don't know if I am underpricing the pen. This is a LILY fountain pen that seems to date itself to 1992, at least from the little note the Chinese seller sent with the pen. Unlike the DAGONG 86 which is a Chinese copy of a vintage VP, this particular pen has a very unique design and body.

This particular pen has a squeeze filling system thats integrated into the nib unit, which reminds of me of the Dagong 86. The body however is heavy and made of thick aluminum (or steel?). The nib is gold plated steel, with LILY imprinted onto the nib.

The front section of the pen DOES NOT HAVE a door/capping mechanism unlike the DAGONG 86. While I have not used this pen, I imagine that it will have a lot of dry out issues. The front section can also be unscrewed unlike similar pens. I can't help but think this was a PROTOTYPE pen that never made it into production because the capping mechanism was never perfected. I don't think Ill ever find or see another one of these in my lifetime.

All in all this is more of a collectors item than a pen to be used for everyday writing (or even general writing, I think). If you are a serious collector of VPs or want a pen with some serious historical value, this is the pen for you!
