Lunchtime ink reviews! I'm taking one ink to work each day and doing one of these during my lunch.

Diamine Salamander, dip test with TWSBI Eco 1.1mm stub, on Rhodia dotpad.

A dark and swampy yet unsaturated green. Shades nicely, is dryish.

My camera insisted on picking this up as grey, so there has been extensive editing (when editing the photos takes twice as long as using the ink...).

I also find that some shades just will not come out as they look on the paper. I remember back to when I reviewed Salamander and I couldn't get it to look green either.

Still loving this review format!

One thing about Diamine Salamander that escapes me is the name. Just had a look at a bunch of salamander images and the variety in colour is wild. So why this greenish colour gets the name?
