Since there are all these threads about scammers, etc., I'd like to post a little story about how honest most people are.
I run a dive center on a small tropical island in Asia. A large portion of our customers are backpackers traveling through. Many of them come and dive, like it and want to dive some more but dont have the money at that point. We say, no problems - go home and pay. To date, in nearly 10 years, every single person who said they will go home and pay has done so. Many of them email us to remind them about their bills. They dont have to - most of them are from other countries. But they do. That's almost $40,000 worth of payments over the years with ZERO non-payments.
For the most part, I think these scammers are the exception, not the rule.
