ECLIPSE Canadian Flat Top Painted Red Ripple Pen With Eclipse 14k Nib

This is a Canadian made Eclipse flat top fountain pen. The pen measures 5 1/4 inches capped. This is lever filler pen. The colour is red ripple. The hard rubber cap and barrel are in good condition showing light storage wear, no cracks or deep scratches but does have some light bite marks on the cap which can be heated out. The gold band and clip are good showing a little brassing. The nib is a Canadian 14k gold medium tip showing some flex and is the harder to find nib with the Eclipse oval emblem. Cap screws down correctly. The lever works correctly.

Please note: This pen has not been serviced and will require a new ink sac and cleaning to be filled and used.

I was told this pen is actually hard rubber and not painted celluloid. I removed the section and the ripple is present inside the barrel and cap.

I normally sell my pens serviced but I don't have access to supplies right now.

I'm open to offers on this great vintage Canadian hard rubber pen with a hard to find nib.

I cleaned the nib/feed and gave the gold trim and barrel/cap a light polish to bring up some shine. The pen needs a new ink sac which I don't have.
