These pens have been restored inside and outside and are ready to fill with ink and use, unless noted otherwise.

4. circa 1929 Sheaffer's standard size Balance pen and pencil set in Jade green. The pen has discoloration on the lower part of the cap and the barrel. The clip has some brassing on the top edge and the ball. The nib is an exceptionally smooth writing Fine 14K. The pencil is working well. The color is perfect. The pencil's clip has a bit of brassing on the top edge, on the hump and across the ball. Capped the pen measures 5 5/8 inches or 14.4 cm.

5. circa 1929 Sheaffer's oversize Lifetime White Dot Balance set. The only thing I can see on the pen or pencil that could be considered as damage, is a thin line of brassing across the clip ball and the pen barrel has moderate discoloration and a small spot of discoloration on the cap. The pen has the name "L.E. Young" imprinted on the pen, in small block letters. There is no name imprint on the pencil. The barrel imprint on the pen is deep. This is a very early 1929 set, marked "Pat'd - Patent Pending" They were produced before the patent was awarded to the W.A. Sheaffer's Co. The pencil is working well and has extra leads. The nib is a very smooth writing Fine 14K. The overall condition of the set is Excellent.

6. circa 1934 Sheaffer's standard size Lifetime WD Balance in green pearl and black aka marine green. The barrel has posting ring wear. The tip of the clip has a spot of brassing on either side. The barrel imprint has wear, but it is all legible. I noticed a bit of slight color difference in the lower half of the cap, otherwise the color is very nice. The nib is a smooth writing Fine 14K Lifetime. Capped the pen measures 5 inches or 12.9 cm.

Rules, Shipping, Etc.
The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.
Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.Postal Service Priority Mail.
I also ship to other countries by Priority Mail which is about $34.00 USD
and higher to most countries, if I have to add insurance the fee will be more.
In most cases I will split the mail fee to Canada, about $16.00. I can also
mail to other countries by Express International Mail, if you request it, but it is costly.
Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.
