Platinum pen price increases coming...

I just heard from a shop owner that in Japan, the Platinum 3776 series is in for a price hike. Basically, from what he heard, they will be changing the cap bands this year and increasing the price too around ¥12000 (110 USD).
To put that into context, right now a standard #3667 Century Bourgogne is around ¥9000 (85 USD).

I have no idea if there will be an effect to the US or European markets!
