Hi all,

These pens have been restored inside and outside and are ready to fill with ink and use, unless noted otherwise.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, Shipping, Etc." at the bottom of this post.

#4. Late 1930's Sheaffer's Balance pen in "Ebonized Pearl" (abalone chips). This is a scarce version with triple cap bands, thin-thick-thin, with a zigzag pattern on the wider center band. I have seen them called "Jeweler's cap bands", which is a misnomer. These bands were not made by jewelers, the caps came from the factory this way. The pen has NOT been restored and will not be functional until it is. It is a wire/rod plunger fill. I can refer a repair person to you that does excellent work on this type of filling system. The clip has a bit of brassing on the outside edges of the clip's tip and the lower cap band has a couple of spots of brassing on the lower edge. This is a short slender model that capped measures 4 7/8 inches or 12.3 cm. The abalone chips on the cap have a lot of colorful reflectivity, just not the ones in the area of the clip.

Price $195.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

5. circa 1936 Parker Vacumatic Oversize fountain pen in silver pearl. The barrel imprint only struck the first number in the date code and I did not remove the nib from the section, I just cleaned in water, so I don't know the exact year the pen was made. I suspect it was made about '36. The clip has some wear around the edges and the shaft on the arrow has some little flakes of plating missing. The tassi ring on the blind cap has some typical brassing on the outer raised edge and the blind cap has some teeth marks that are not too obvious. The lock down filler unit will not lock down, even after I replaced the diaphragm it will not lock down, and I am not certain why. The pen fills well, you just have to replace the blind cap while holding the pen over your ink bottle. The barrel clarity is exceptional for a 30's Vac. The two tone nib does not have any plating loss that I can see. It is a very smooth writing fat Fine or Medium 14K. Capped the pen measures 5 5/16 inches or 13.6 cm.

Price further reduced to $325.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

6. circa 1925 Moore L-96 in Tuscan Red. I would not say that this version of the Tuscan Red L-96, with the black cap end and thin-wide-thin bands, is rare, but they are very scarce. The pen is about 1/4 inch longer than a Parker Duofold Senior flat top and slightly larger in diameter. There is some brassing around the bottom edge of the cap band and some in the center of the lever. I elected not to polish this pen, I just wiped it down with a jeweler's cloth, so there are some light scratches and normal signs of use. The nib is a No. 6, but it appears to me to be about the size of other company's No. 8 size nibs. The nib is a smooth writing fairly flexible Extra Fine. On the barrel there is a dark speck next to the cap lip, but it is where the pressure bar is pinned through the barrel. Capped the pen measures 5 11/16 inches or 14.5 cm.

Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.Postal Service Priority Mail.
I also ship to other countries by Priority Mail which is about $34.00 USD
and higher to most countries, if I have to add insurance the fee will be more.
In most cases I will split the mail fee to Canada, about $16.00. I can also
mail to other countries by Express International Mail, if you request it, but it is costly.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

Happy penning!
