Condition (n.b.): All pens listed below have been disassembled, cleaned and restored with new sacs installed in the last couple weeks. Each is guaranteed to fill and write as designed without leaks or other issues. Nibs have been adjusted when necessary to ensure that all lay down a smooth and consistent line. These pens have no cracks, chips, personal engravings, missing parts, bent nibs, misaligned tines, or threading issues.

c.1926 Parker Duofold Senior (black Permanite, GFT, button filler, 14k XF nib). Note: box is not included since it's from an earlier pen. I think the box in the photos may actually be correct for this pen, so it's now included in the sale. This is the oversized Senior model in black Permanite (celluloid), measuring 5 1/2" capped. Knurled blind cap, crown, section, and "X-mas tree" feed in black hard rubber. Single, wide, raised cap band dates this flat top model to c.1926. The Duofold is a button filler. Simply unscrew the blind cap and depress the brass button to fill. Commensurably oversized 14k Parker Duofold nib lays down a firm yet smooth and consistent XF line (approx. .2mm) (see writing sample). Condition: All notes on condition mentioned above apply. Gold-filled trim is in exceptionally well-preserved condition, having no brassing aside from a hairsbreadth sliver on the top left edge of the clip and the typical crescent-shaped sliver to the clip ball. Knurled hard rubber crown and blindcap retain their black hue with no discernible discoloration. The cap band can be spun with a finger but rests securely in its groove with no vertical play. There is one small ding on the right corner of the nib's shoulder that is unnoticeable from most angles and has no adverse effect on writing (see detail photo). No signs of any cracks there or anywhere else on the nib. Black Permanite exhibits smooth, lustrous finish with no notable blemishes – scarcely even any microscratches. Imprint is incredibly sharp and fully legible. A well-preserved example of Parker's iconic Duofold and a great choice for those who typically find vintage pens too small to fit their hands.

Price: $240 $220
