Here is a spare soft medium nib unit for a Pilot 912 for sale for $100. (Nib, section, and feed only).

I probably put two or three converter’s worth of ink through it. The nib has never been pushed or flexed hard and is very smooth and springy. The nibs are aligned perfectly. I purchased the nib last year, but I need to secure funds for a research trip this summer for my PhD.

This is for the nib only.
