For sale here is something that I have been a little slow to list. This fountain pen is made by PICK, a pen company out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Green celluloid on this pen has some discoloration from having a rubber sac originally, however it is not super brown and still has a good amount of greeen on the pen. The pen is very handsome featuring gold furniture, including three cap bands, showing some wear with age on the clip. There is actually some small marks on the section as well but its not very noticeable. However these issues make the pen a C in my mind (especially the discoloration).
This pen is actually VERY reminiscent of a Sheaffer from the same time period, the clip is especially Sheaffer like.
The most special part of this pen is the #1 Flexible nib on this pen. This nib is a small gold nib that can show a lot of line variation. If little pressure it is used, the nib lays down a F nib but if you flex it, it can easily get to a BB nib. I have created a writing sample showing off the pens ability to flex. Note that this pen is NOT a wet noodle and actually can lay down a conservative amount of ink when unflexed.
The pen has been restored with a silicone sac and will not gas with time and will not further discolor the barrel.
