Selling more of my collection. Being old is more fun by the day. Help remove this clutter from our house, please.

This is one of Patrick Chu's great productions from 2002, the red urushi lacquer Loiminchay Opus fountain pen. The limited production model was available in red or black lacquer, in roller or fountain. This fountain pen has an 18K bi-color nib, yellow gold with platinum mask. C/C filler. Excellent condition. Won't say mint because I filled it once or twice and wrote about half a page years ago. I am the original owner. Comes in velvet presentation box and outer cardboard box. $525. US. Price includes insured Priority Post in CONUS. Overseas at cost. Will hand deliver at Baltimore Pen Show in 3 weeks. Thank you for reading.

Oh Barry! That is gorgeous!

Please remember me if your house cleaning includes Virginia Woolf.

I’m adoring my MB 149 you sold me.

Good morning Lloyd & Susan,

Thank you both for writing.

Lloyd: Neither the nib nor feed is marked with a nib grade. Appears medium to me. Nib is marked LOIMINCHAY on one side and 18K on opposite side.

Susan: So glad you like that 149. It is a very nice one that I enjoyed using and am happy it continues to be appreciated. My poor photos do not capture the color of the Loiminchay lacquer. It is a true Ferrari red! At some point I will need to sell my Virginia Woolf, but have not yet moved along to the really old Montblancs or to ltd ed Montblancs. Those will be among the last to go. Promise to contact you when the day arrives.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks again for writing.
Best wishes,
Barry
