Hey, unfortunately the previous owner could not tell me if or when it was restored when I purchased it so I can’t really answer that for you. I do know that I have had no issues with the filling mechanism or with the way it writes. Only issue is microscratches and a bit of discoloration near the top of the cap. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
