Hi all,

These pens have been restored inside and outside and are ready to fill with ink and use, unless noted otherwise.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, Shipping, Etc." at the bottom of this post.

4. circa 1938 Mabie Todd Co. Swan in pale golden Lizard pattern. The small rectangles, in the pattern, are outlined in red. The pen was made in England and has the Swan logo imprinted on the cap end. It is made from casein plastic. The lever has pitting in the gold layer, as does the ridge of the clip. The clip ball is brassed on top. The pens with this larger lizard pattern are not easy to find, in my experience. This is a lever fill pen. The nib is a semi-Flexible Extra Fine or XX-Fine 14K. The nib has good flow, but writes a bit light with my vintage Sheaffer's Skrip Washable Blue ink, which tends to be a bit thin and watery. I think the pen would work much better with a darker more saturated ink. Capped the pen measures 4 7/8 inches or 12.3 cm.

Price reduced to $175.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc.below.

5. ~SOLD~ to D.L.M.

circa 1929 Conklin fountain pen in green and bronze. This color is fairly scarce and I think this is the only model of Conklin that it was used. These are referred to as a "student model" pens by pen collectors. They are a full length slender model. There are no condition issues to report on this pen. The nib is a semi-Flexible XX-Fine 14K with a crescent shaped vent hole. The nib has good flow, but writes a bit light with my vintage Sheaffer's Skrip Washable Blue ink, which tends to be a bit thin and watery. I think the pen would work much better with a darker more saturated ink. Capped the pen measures 5 inches or 12.7 cm. The condition of the pen is Excellent plus.

~SOLD~ to D.L.M. $395.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc.below.

6. 1928 Waterman's No. 52V fountain pen and pencil set in Olive Ripple hard rubber. This pen has puzzled me for a few years. The barrel and nib were made in the U.S., but it has a cap that appears to have been made in Canada. The cap lip band is marked "FDW" .375 (for 10 Karat gold and the date mark is a lower case "n", which would be for 1928. I suspect it is a replacement cap. The clip and lever are gold filled, with no brassing. The barrel imprints have wear, but they are legible. The pencil has a capital letter "A" deeply carved into the top end piece, which screws in and could be replaced. The nose has some slack between it and the barrel. The pencil mechanism is working well. Capped the pen measures 4 3/8 inches or 11.1 cm. The nib is a smooth flexible Medium Stub 14K and will make up to about a 1.75 mm line.
