Hi all,

These pens have been restored inside and outside and are ready to fill with ink and use, unless noted otherwise.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, Shipping, Etc." at the bottom of this post.

#1. 1946 Parker "51" set with sterling silver caps in India Black, with original box. There are no dents, scratches, etc. on the caps. The plating over the sterling silver has flaked away and fallen off in different small spots/specks all over both caps, so it has a slight mottled effect where the specks of plating are missing. Yet, the set looks very nice and the overall condition is much better than average and I would rate the set at about 8.5 to 9 out of a possible 10. The nib is a smooth writing fat Extra Fine or Fine 14K. The leatherette covered box is not perfect, but I would say acceptable. The pencil had a little darkening around the clip, in the photo, which I have since removed by hand polishing with a jeweler's cloth.

2. c. 1929 Parker Duofold "Deluxe" Senior in Moderne Black and Pearl. There is no plating wear. The barrel discoloration is mild compared to many black and white Duofolds that I have seen. I would say the barrel is much better than average. There is one small patch of very mild discoloration on the backside of the cap. The nib is a smooth writing Fine 14K. Capped the pen measures 5 1/8 inches or 13 cm. The overall condition is Excellent. Oh! And you get the original box! The box has patents printed on the bottom for various names like Duofold and Lucky curve. The box is in very nice condition. I have the matching mechanical pencil for this pen, if you are interested, please let me know.

3. ~SOLD~ to J.S.

circa 1938 Mabie Todd Co. Swan in pale golden Lizard pattern. The small rectangles, in the pattern, are outlined in red. The pen was made in England and has the Swan logo imprinted on the cap end. It is made from casein plastic. The lever has pitting in the gold layer, as does the ridge of the clip. The clip ball is brassed on top. The pens with this larger lizard pattern are not easy to find, in my experience. This is a lever fill pen. The nib is a semi-Flexible Extra Fine or XX-Fine 14K. The nib has good flow, but writes a bit light with my vintage Sheaffer's Skrip Washable Blue ink, which tends to be a bit thin and watery. I think the pen would work much better with a darker more saturated ink. Capped the pen measures 4 7/8 inches or 12.3 cm.
