Any idea about the history of the "Durable Pen"? I have one which I have just restored (new pressure bar, sac). It is made from what appears to be aircraft aluminium, button filler with blind cap. Everything is aluminium save the nib section, feed, nib and clip. . The nib is a bit nasty (rather cheap steel with gold plating) but writes okay. I would guess 1930s. The barrel is additionally stamped "Made in England".

I don't know this one though I have seen a number of aluminium pens. It's possible that it is post-war rather than thirties. Many people with skills learned in munitions factories and access to war surplus materials set up machine shops. Quite a few of them made fountain pens.
