Sheaffer Marine Green Balance Oversize- Autograph/Lever Fill
I purchased this from a member here. Since then, I had the sac replaced by Danny Fudge (I think the extreme dryness here in Texas may have aged it, so now it's brand new for you), and received it back today.
This is just a breathtaking pen when seen in person. I had bought it to start a vintage Sheaffer collection, but won't be able to collect further so am offering it for sale to someone who will appreciate it.
Barrel and cap are in outstanding condition, with only minimal micro marks considering it's (roughly) an 80 yr old pen. Barrel imprint is crisp. There's no discernible discoloring at all.
The clip and cap band are 14kt gold and are marked accordingly. There is a signature on the band which says " Chas Spurges." Clip & band have very minimal wear. The only mentionable cosmetic flaw is a tiny crinkle in the clip, which I did my best to photograph.
The nib is two-toned 14kt fine that is stiff and writes a good wet line. This is by far the most beautiful pen I own, a vintage masterpiece.
