For sale is this Aurora Optima, which is being sold along with other pens that I have not used for the past years after I slowly lost my interest for fountain pens (yes, I know, shame on me).
This pen was originally bought from user Webs on FPN back in 2010, but has never seen any use since then, so I will include the original advert as this is essentially the same pen apart from being stored for 9 years without any use, although the attached pictures have been recently taken for the purpose of this sale:
I have a beautiful, very slightly used Aurora Optima for sale in classic black with gold trim. It is in excellent, near mint condition.
When I first got this pen, the broad nib was scratchy. I sent it off to the renowned nibmeister, John Mottishaw, who smoothened and adjusted the nib for me. I was totally satisfied with John's work on the pen, and put the pen away. It has been one of my "drawer queens" since.
This is Aurora's "flagship" pen and now retails for $495, although it can be had for approximately $395. Optimas are known for their reliability and wonderful writing characteristics.
Price is US$ 300 excluding shipping.
